If you are thinking about making a Hackint0sh using a Dell Mini 10v, do a web search for “Meklort”. He created an installer to help fix any problems that may occur. All you need after that is an OEM copy of Snow Leopard, an 8GB USB drive, a little knowledge (forums can help) and patience.

Not an iPad, but I can listen to iTunes while I check my mail, surf the web and chat on Adium or Skype.

Under $300 with Mac OSX SL, tax and S & H.

You can also run multiple operating systems (Mac OSX, Windows 7 & Ubuntu).
